A Summary of Services We Provide
Guardian Services
In those situations where an individual is unable to make decisions for him or herself, the court may appoint a guardian to do so upon petition by an interested person. Typically, a guardian will be charged with the responsibility of making health care and housing decisions.
Conservator Services
If a person is unable to manage his or her finances properly, a conservator may be appointed by the court upon the filing of a petition by an interested party to manage that person’s finances and to make other decisions regarding that person’s financial matters.
Trustee Services
A family member or close friend is often designated the trustee of a person’s trust when a trust is established, but sometimes, it is desirable to select an independent party or replace a trustee. When the need arises, a third-party may be selected by the beneficiaries or appointed by the court to serve as a successor trustee.
